Comparison | It Cosmetics 3-in-1 Glow Tonic VS Pixi Glow Tonic

Hello All!

Welcome back to my Blog! Its been a little bit- I have been busy with work and the kids and honestly life came y so quick that I hadn't been keeping up with my blog at all. Which is unfortunate because I love writing! But easiest way to keep up with me is Instagram, So defiantly check me out there if you are not already.

So lets get into this comparison!

It Cosmetics Miracle Water 3-in-1 Glow Tonic

  • $48 CAD
  • 250 ML
  • "3-in-1 Tonic combines a skin-brightening radiance booster to enhance radiance, a potent anti-aging treatment essence to reduce the look of lines and wrinkles and restore skins appearance, and a skin- softening micellar cleanser to gently remove dirt, oil, impurities and all traces of makeup in one simple step"
  • Works on dryness, pores, dullness and uneven texture
  • Available at Sephora or It cosmetics

Pixi Glow Tonic
  • $38 CAD
  • 250 ML
  • "invigorating facial toner that deeply cleans pores by sweeping away excess oil and impurities"
  • " Gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells, revealing healthy glowing skin"
  • 5% Glycolic Acid
  • Available at Shoppers Drug Mart or Pixi Beauty

Thoughts; I used both of these products for 2 weeks each. I first got the It cosmetics to give it a try- I though the price point wasn't bad for a big bottle ( Until I bought the Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic) I think the It cosmetics leaves my skin really plump and moisturized and I would notice my skin looked glow-y and bright in the morning. But this unfortunately broke my skin out in a very strange way- I just got tiny white bumps all over my cheeks. I hadn't used any other new products in my routine so I knew it had to be this. Then when I stopped using it for 3/4 days it went away.

The Pixi Glow Tonic is very similar in the way it makes your skin feel- Very plump and bright. Again my skin feels moisturized- More than likely due to the exfoliant making my skin able to absorb my serums, oils and moisturizers more effectively. I do like that the Pixi Glow Tonic contains 5% Glycolic Acid as it has an active chemical exfoliant which is great for brightening and removing dry skin cells.

Overall thoughts ; I am looking at giving my It cosmetics away or returning it. I think that my skin just doesn't love it and the reaction is not worth it. Also its 10$ of a higher price point and I am unable to find any information on the active ingredients that make this product work. I have been using the Pixi Glow Tonic twice a day every day and I will repurchase this item!

Hope you guys find this helpful! Let me know what else you'd like to see on here!
