Fashion Basic : Denim Jacket
I get asked about my denim jacket almost every time I wear it. So I thought it would make sense to do a little dedicated post to it! Before I got this jacket I had worn denim shirts, But I had always longed for the perfect oversized denim jacket. ( Fashion girl dreams )
To be completely honest I severely overwear this. But I am someone who likes to look put together but also very casual. So I always find this is the perfect addition to any outfit. Also its easy to throw on because its loose enough that it fits over everything which works for me because #momlife.
I love how casual this looks but it also always just adds something to every outfit I pair it with. Everyone compliments me on this jacket and I think thats the true test because I always look mad or grumpy.
So lets get into the deets. My jacket is originally from The Gap. But it is no longer available unfortunately. So I have searched the internet high and low to find a similar product, and I am actually surprised. I have found one that is pretty much 100% the same look wise. It is oversized but also a bit longer so its a perfect dupe! So check that out here! I believe the style I purchased was around the same price point too. I know it is a bit steep, but I have worn this 60+ times and I have had it for less than a year. I found a few other styles that are oversized so based on your preference and body type one of these might work for you here (Get the tall version so its a bit longer!) Here or here
